(More customer reviews)I bought this poncho because it looked like a good length and was black. I am 5 ft. 9 inches and it fit well. For a taller person it would probably be too small. What disappointed me was that it is not waterproof. Living in Vermont, and being an avid walker, I go out into the rain often and need a poncho that is waterproof -- truly waterproof. Unfortunately this poncho is not waterproof, it is actually highly permeable to even moderate rain fall. The fact that another review noted that it is very thin, to the point of being able to see through it when it's held to the light confirms for me that I didn't just get a dud but that it actually isn't rainproof under moderate conditions and definitely not under heavy ones. I don't recommend it as a poncho and definitely not as a temporary shelter unless you have nothing else handy. Peace to all.
