(More customer reviews)Beware if you are buying this suit for the appearance you see in the online photograph. The photo shows a suit with long lapels and a deep rich slightly olive green. I received a suit with shorter lapels and a greenish tinged brown color. It mostly looks brown and definitely does in electric light and in the daylight when the sky is clouded. This suit does not come anywhere near matching an olive green vest I bought for it.
I already have a good brown suit and wanted to have a variety of colors to wear. The cloth labels were sown on with so many threads that when I tried to pull them off I could not, and I am a very strong man. When I pulled the threads on the labels up from the sleeve to cut them off with scissors, the brown thread of the sleeve became exposed and that is now a permanent blemish I will have to work on. The package was very soft, smashed in at one end with a small tear and the suit was creased and wrinkled in many places. I need to have it pressed after I have the pant legs altered.
The pockets were sown shut as is normal practice when suits are shipped but I can normally break the threads loose with my fingers so as to avoid using a blade which may damage the fabric. Well, I was forced to use a knife with this suit. I feared that if I used more force on the threads with my fingers that I would tear off the pocket itself. I see no reason for sowing pockets shut that firmly as this is only for the purpose of keeping the suit neat and intact during transit and a light sowing is all that is required.
