(More customer reviews)Let me start off by saying that this was my first ever purchase from Amazon, and let me say that the seller made it a great experience. I have separated my review into multiple categories, each with a 1 to 10 (best) rating.
SELLER COMMUNICATIONS (10/10):
Before buying, I had several questions, and not all at the same time. I contacted the seller three different times, and when I woke up the following morning, I had received a very helpful reply that answered my questions.
Shipping (10/10)
I ordered the vest on a Saturday, and I received it on the following Thursday and I only used standard/shipping. So unless it's a last second purchase, you don't need to spend the extra bucks on super fast shipping. Note that the company ships its products out from California near Los Angeles, and I live in the middle of the U.S., so if you live farther east, it might take an extra day.
Product (9/10)
I ordered the red vesuvio napoli vest with the bow tie for prom, but I'm sure all of them can be reviewed on the same basis with a different color. The material is 100% polyester; it has a nice feel to it. You don't have to worry about the material being thick as the picture may suggest. The two problems I have with the vest are: the tightening belt in the back is a little hard to use, and unless someone is helping you, it will be very difficult for you to do yourself. The other problem is that the buttons seem very light and you must treat them with care. These are definitely not made to be washed. Nevertheless, these two problems are very minimal.
Pricing (10/10)
Not only do you get the same vest that Men's Wearhouse will charge you $40 for, but you get a bow tie as well, which costs an extra $10 at Macy's, so this is a VERY good deal.
Sizing (10/10)
If you are wondering about sizing, I can tell you that I am 5'10, 135 pounds, and I ordered the large, at first it does seem large/baggy, but then you remember the tightening belt in the back and then all is well.
Overall (10/10)
If you need a tuxedo vest for prom or a wedding, I really recommend the Vesuvio Napoli brand. An amazing product for an amazing price; I will definitely be doing business again.
